Flight of Fancy Broom

The Appalachian Weave Broom may be crafted from one of a variety of wood types for the handle including cherry and other fruitwoods, cedar, willow, oak, and alder to name a few. The natural beauty of the handle is enhanced with carefully chosen stain then hand-rubbed to a lovely smooth finish. 

The Flight of Fancy Broom is made using curly willow for the handle which makes a unique canvas for artistic expression and traditional craftsmanship. Each Flying Curly themed broom is finished using a  variety of finishes on the handle ranging from shimmering mica infused paints and stains, ombre shades of paint, or a simple stained/painted handle combined with natural stones, and/or other materials.

Carefully woven with broomcorn using the time-honored Appalachian Weave technique, a Flying Curly broom offers both beauty and durability. It’s one-of-a-kind design elements make it both a perfect decorative as well as functional piece that brings a touch of mystical whimsey and heirloom quality into your home and/or sacred space.
